Description

This is a genuine Red Sandalwood (Chandan) mala, made with 108 round beads of approximately 6mm, with a red or yellow tassel. Used in Buddhist meditation, the beads help to keep track of the mantras being spoken during meditation. Even if you don't use them for meditation, they are a wonderful addition to your jewelry or bead collection! Each one can fit around the wrist 2-3 times. They have a faint lovely sandalwood smell that grows stronger when the beads are warming up next to your body. Wear the mala on your body, remove the beads to add to special jewelry creations, or lay the entire mala on a warm surface such as a DVR box, so warm slowly and subtly scent the room. These are just like our regular Sandalwood beads, only smaller, of a dark red-brown color, and with a more subtle smell.
