Cat's Eye is a man-made stone, made by fusing many strands of glass together to form a stone that is almost transparent when viewed lengthwise, and with a shimmering cat's eye effect (called chatoyance) when viewed from the side. The chips are then cut from this glass, then tumbled and polished like any other gemstone. Mix them with other stone beads and metallic spacers for endless possibilities. Strands are in the 34-36" range, and come pre-strung on nylon wire or string. Several colors to choose from.
